Footsteps

In Footsteps, David creates the intimacy of a conversation, the voice quiet but alchemical, tracing the creative path through his four books of poetry: Songs for Coming Home, Where Many Rivers Meet, Fire In the Earth, and The House of Belonging.

Footsteps is an autobiographical tour with its emphasis firmly on a long apprenticeship to the difficult arts of poetry, and the stages of articulation that emerge with many years of writing.
