Coming to Ground

In this talk given in the wake of the September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, poet David Whyte speaks about the unique human experience of coming to ground. This is a time of silence and gathering in, a time to acknowledge that we are all participants in a greater story.

With poetry and insightful commentary, he brings to light the challenge and privilege of bringing our private stories into conversation with the larger world, opening our selves to the insights that times of difficulty may spark.
